Our history

Investors established Shanti Hospitality Group in 2004, opening Shanti Ananda in the same year. Since then, we've worked tirelessly to develop our portfolio and build a dedicated, passionate team.

Building exceptional assets and brands has been our aim for over 15 years. Our current focus is to continue to deliver exceptional moments for our guests.

2001: Ananda in the Himalayas opened

2004: Shanti Hospitality Group established

2004: Shanti Ananda Maurice opened

2006: Hyatt Centric Bangalore added to portfolio

2008: Shanti Maurice rebranded

2008: Amritara and Hyatt Regency Amritsar join Shanti

2009: Hyatt Hyderabad joins Shanti

2010: Hyatt Pune joins Shanti

2011: Nira Caledonia and Nira Alpina acquired, followed by Four Points by Sheraton Vadodara

2012: Four Points by Sheraton, New Delhi acquired

2012: Villa Azur and Hyatt Ahmedabad opened

2015: The Red Roof Inn and The Capitol Hotel in the USA were acquired

2016: Margot opened in London's Covent Garden

2019: Oniro Mykonos and Hyatt Regency Dharamshala opened

2023: Ocean's Creek opened
